Frank Meffert
As you might have figured out already, my name is Frank Meffert.
I’m currently working as a software engineer for an european ANSP.

In 2008, I’ve received my Bachelor degree in Computer Science at University of Applied Sciences in Wiesbaden, Germany. The title of my Bachelor thesis was “Implementation and Evaluation of a Location Service based on active RFID technology” (translated from german).

In 2011, I’ve received my Master’s degree in Computer Science at RheinMain University of Applied Sciences in Wiesbaden, Germany.
At the end of 2010, I’ve accomplished my Master’s thesis with the title “Airfield Tracking: Multi-Sensor Data Fusion and Particle Filters with prototypical Integration into the PHOENIX Tracker“.

My main fields of interest are Sequential Monte Carlo methods (SMC) (including the Particle Filter), Multi-Sensor Data Fusion, Localization, Location Based Services (LBS), Embedded Systems, Microcontrollers (ATmega) and Android development.
